Charity

The Hua Hin Golf Society Charity was established in 1999 to improve the lives of under privileged Thai people living in the Hua Hin district and surrounding area by means of educational and other support.

Since its establishment, the Charity has completed repair and upgrading projects for 13 schools located in poor villages in the area. These projects have benefited over 300 children and young people. Anyone interested in supporting the Charity should either contact:

2010 Projects

Baan Peang Tawan Orphanage

The orphanage is situated in Samorprong, Hua Hin and is run by Khun Kias and his wife Khun Nok. They are now on their 3rd generation of children.

They currently have 17 orphans and abandoned kids They have been given a house to live in rent free, but it is tiny and could not accomodate all the kids. In the evenings the girls were going into town and sleeping at a shop house and some of the boys were sleeping in the garden of the house.

They desperately wanted to all be together as a family. We have built a dormitory for them which comfortably accommodates 10 beds and two shower / toilet rooms.

The building was started in February and completed mid March.

Khun Kias and Khun Nok pass on their heartfelt thanks to the golf society for making this possible.

2009 Projects 

Our 11th Annual Christmas Charity Day was a great success. Thanks to everyone who took part in the golf event, attended the evening dinner at the Dusit and of course our wonderful Sponsors we were able to raise a fantastic 577,768 baht.
