If for any reason you cannot make your tee time on competition days, can you inform a member of the committee so as your slot can be given to a person on the waiting list, sometimes that person is at the golf course waiting to play. Thank you for your consideration in this matter...

Can we remind all golfers who have entered the competitions to be at the golf course 30 minutes before their tee time, as stated on the start sheet, as very often people drop out and gaps have to be filled, also the administration persons would like to have a few minutes to prepare before playing themselves, thank you.

We only use two competition tee boxes. One tee box will be the regular tee box of the day be it White (in most cases) yellow or blue. You will be advised on the day. The other tee box to be used will be the red tee boxes for those players handicapped accordingly.

The only exception to this is Black Mountain where 0-18 handicap will play from the Blue Tee and 19 and above the White Tee. Red Tee players are not affected.

Members are welcome to bring their friends to the Society’s games as their guests. The member will play in the same group as their guest(s), thus a maximum of three guests per member is allowed subject to availability of tee-times.

There will be a best guest prize of the day when we are playing individual tournaments e.g. stableford or medal. Guests are also eligible to compete in all our fun competitions on the day e.g. nearest the pin, longest drive etc.

Please use the separate sign- up sheet to sign in your guest(s) at Berny’s Bar. Obviously other members will be given preference with available slots. A current handicap certificate will be required for those who have not played with the Society within a one month period.
