MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

Existing memberships come up for renewal at the end of this year (31st December 2008). You can renew your new 4 year membership from 1st November 2008 a renewal form can be obtained from Berny, once completed, return to Berny with 2 photographs, photocopy of your passport index page and your subscription money, which is 750 baht per year = 3,000 baht. You will not be able to renew your membership after 28th February 2009, after this date a new membership application will have to be made.

Non Conforming Clubs - See 'MISC 2'

Anyone who is aware of a winning competitor using a non conforming club should contact the society in writing either by email or by hand to a committee member.

2008 Annual Matchplay / Plate Championship

The Entrance List for the Annual Matchplay Championship is on the Societies Notice Board till 10th October.

The Draw will take place on Sunday 12th October.

1st / Prelimary Round at Majestic Creek Friday 17th October

2nd Round at the Banyan Tuesday 21st October

3rd Round + 1st Round of the Plate Competition at Lake View Tuesday 28th October

Semi Final + Semi Final of the Plate Competition at Majestic Creek Tuesday 11th November

Finals to be Arranged on a non Society Day.

Permanent Back Tees: For those people wishing to play from one tee box back from our normal tee box on a permanent basis can do so, they should inform the committee and their handicap will be adjusted accordingly. We must emphasize that once a member chooses for this option he cannot chop and change his/her mind as and when it suits, they will only have one handicap based on that tee box. (one back from the rest of the field)

We also would allow a person over the age of 70 years of age to play off of a tee box one box forward of our normal tee boxes (handicap adjusted). Ask a committee member for details.

Once per Month Competition: For those wishing to play from one tee box back from our normal tee boxes, (entrants will be limited to group 'A' players), on that day there will be a stableford competition as well, off of the normal tee boxes, SEE FIXTURES for this and next month's competition.

Summer Pairs: SEE MISC 1 for teams, matches and league table.

Strokeplay: 28th November & 7th December.

Scratchplay: Open to Category 1 & 2 players (handicap 12 & under) 9th & 12th December. Tee boxes will be one tee box back from our normal tee boxes (Men & Ladies).
