HUA HIN GOLF SOCIETY
The original golf society in Hua Hin (Hua Hin Golf Society) was the brainchild of Jim Kennedy, a former Bangkok resident who shared the concept with Frank Gilbride, Ian Lewins and our ‘forever’ Captain Bernie Morgan on establishing an association along similar lines of the more established Bangkok Golf Societies. A meeting was duly held in the Hua Hin Golf Tours office and arrangements made to kick off HHGS. The inaugural tournament was staged at Springfield Golf Course in 1993, being a twilight tee-off over nine holes using the 36 system supported by Golf Professional, Kelly Cherkowski.

Presentation at Pizza Garden 7th July 2020.
Following the success of our social evening at Prime Steakhouse earlier this year, we have booked an evening with Mario at Pizza Garden on Soi 94 from 6pm till 8pm.
Mario has given us a special price of 700 Baht per person, which includes 3 types of pasta, 3 different types of Pizza and free flow wine and beer. If you do not want wine or beer, the price will be 500 Baht, but you have to pay for your own drinks.
You don’t have to play to join us, but the presentation for the day’s strokeplay at Lake View will be held on the evening.
Guests will be welcome, and in order to help Mario with the numbers, please let us know by e-mail to email@example.com, and let us know how many people are coming. We can allow a maximum of 36 people, for social distancing.
Golf Course Update, June 15th 2020
The restrictions on golf courses have been eased, but the courses will still have to comply with some restrictions such as not sharing a cart etc.
All courses are now allowed to sell alcohol with food, and we can now hold our normal competitions twice a week.
The tee times may change at the last minute, but we will try to inform everyone who signs up.
