Should you be unable to make your tee time, can you inform a member the committee as soon as possible. This will enable a person on the waiting list or who may be at the golf course waiting for a cancellation, to be allocated your tee time.
All golfers who are entered for competitions must be at be at the golf course 30 minutes prior to their tee time, as stated on the start sheet. On occasions people drop out and gaps need to be filled. Also, the ‘starter” would like time to prepare prior to playing themselves,
All competitors must be on the tee ready to play 10 minutes prior to their tee time.
Depending on the course, or competition, both Ladies and Gents can select the tee box they prefer to play from. If you choose a different tee than normal, please be at the golf course early, so as the committee member can make the correct adjustments to your handicap.
Members are welcome to bring guests to the Society’s games. Members are reminded that guest/s must be known to them. We cannot accommodate walk-ins, visitors, tourists etc.
The member is to play in the same group as their guest/s and a maximum of two guests per member is allowed, subject to availability of tee-times.
Please contact a member of the committee to sign in your guest/s. Society members will be given preference with available slots so please expect to be on a waiting list especially in high season.
A current handicap certificate will be required for those guests who have not played with the Society within a one month period.
Guests are generally not eligible to win major prizes or trophies. However, there will be a guest prize on the day, if there are two or more guests playing. Guests are also eligible to compete in all fun competitions on the day e.g., nearest the pin, longest drive etc. Guests are expected to attend prize giving following the tournament.
