For two long years, because of the Covid Pandemic, we have not been able to enjoy our Champagne Scramble, however, this year, rules have been relaxed, and we were able to hold this event at Majestic Creek. 32 players attended, and enjoyed the buffet and refreshments after the game. We had 4 near pins on par 3’s, and a near pin in three on the par 5 9^th hole.

 

The team winning the first par 3 were Fiona, Fred, Halbjoern and Piyawan, all received a bottle of wine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next par 3 near pin was won by Neky, Ray, Darryl and Phil, as well as coming in 4^th place, with a net score of 58, again bottles all round.

In third place in the competition, with a net score of 56 were team Kieron, Olivier, Bob and Gaston.

In 2^nd place, with a net score of 55, were team Jo, Andy, Pekka and Hans

However, the stars of the show were team Berny, Mario, Cornelis and Graham, the not only won a near pin in three on the long par 5 9^th, they also came in with a brilliant net 54. Someone told me that Captain Berny’s putter was on fire!

They are now the holders of the Champagne Scramble cup until this time next year.
