Trip Report, Nakhon Pathom 27 and 28 February

Early morning on the 27th February, 35 of us embarked on a bus ride to the province of Nakhon Pathom. Our first destination was the Uniland Golf and Country Club. We arrived there in good time and were allowed to go off earlier than the tee times booked. Most of the group managed to score well, and the winner of A group with a score of 41 points was Siripen Nu and B group was won by Fred Ward with a total of 38 points.

After the golf we all checked in to the Proud Hotel in Nakhon Pathom, and later we all met at a nearby restaurant.

The next day, we all managed to get up on time for the bus trip to Suwan Golf Course. There we managed to have a group photo before we teed off.

This course was one of the most difficult courses played by the golf society, and was reflected in the scores.

This time we decided to have the presentation on the bus, where Tim was handed a microphone to do the talking. The winner of B group, with an amazing 27 points, was Eric Taylor, pictured left with his prize money, however, the winner of A group was Sunny, with a reasonable 35 points, right receiving her prize.

The best guest on both days was Hans Poulsen, well played, Hans.

We also had a blind draw pairs competition, where no one knew who they would be drawn with until the announcements. The winners were Hans Poulsen, who was drawn with Sunny.

After a safe and pleasant journey back to Hua Hin we arrived at about 7:45 pm
